Since the 1990's, the Government determined to solve the persist flood problem by draging a new widen waterway for the meandering Kam Tin River in the vicinity. Meanwhile, to construct service roads at the embankments. As a result, going to Nam Sang Wai by car is now feasible, making it more famous for TV, movie outdoor scenes.
